| Outdoor Climbing: Pinnacle (attempt #2) |
| Description: |
Since last week's trip got rained out, we will lead another trip to Pinnacle this week. The forecast shows rain on Friday, but the rock will hopefully dry by Saturday morning. If car space is limited, those who were registered for last week's trip will get priority.
Pinnacle has a variety of routes and is a great place for both beginners and experienced climbers. Assuming fair weather on the day of the trip, we will depart from Phelps Gate at 10am and return at 5pm (tentatively). We may get dinner on the way back. If you have a car, please let us know if you are willing to drive people. Otherwise, be prepared to pay around $5 for gas money.
Never climbed before? Not a problem. The leaders will set up top-ropes on climbs of various difficulties and instruct participants on commands, basic safety, and belaying. |
