Valentine Overnight Snowshoe: Mt. Cardigan, NH
Description: We will leave New Haven early Saturday and drive to central New Hampshire. We will snowshoe to the top of Mt. Cardigan (3,155ft), a bare summit with views across the state. It will likely be icy on the summit slabs, so we will bring crampons as well. We'll return to the base and set up tents in the snow (unless it has melted by then!), and then return to New Haven by lunchtime Sunday.

Please indicate your previous experience winter camping and/or using crampons, as well as whether you have a car that can be used for the trip.

Preference will be given to participants with cars.
